Check out what’s new for 2018. Here are a few things to look forward to during the conference.
Sunday Morning Registration Reception
Join us on Sunday morning in the registration foyer (lower level) for live music, the bedazzling station where you can make your badge sparkle, and a chance to catch up with old friends. We’ll have light refreshments, games, and our Innovations Gallery.
The Innovations Gallery is a series of poster sessions on topics that cover disaster preparedness, EMS/home care partnerships, retention and membership methodologies, therapy insights, patient engagement strategies, and more. Be sure to snap photos to take these solutions home with you! Located in the Expo foyer, on the lower level.
Table of Elements of Leadership
See what elements of leadership attendees contributed to our Period Table of Elements of Leadership on the upper level. What elements define your leadership style? What elements do you need to develop to become a more effective leader? Ongoing throughout the conference.
What makes you the person you are? Do you define yourself as an Authentic Care Giver? Authentic Cat Mom? Authentic Leader? We invite you to think about what’s authentically you and add it to our Authentic Me board on the upper level. See what other people have contributed (and be sure to take a selfie with your Authentic Me card and tag NAHC on social media!). Ongoing throughout the conference.
The NAHC Nook
Looking for a quiet place to get away or a good book on leadership to read? The NAHC Nook is the perfect place to relax with a new friend or a new book. Browse our lending library of titles recommended by attendees and find your next great read. The NAHC Nook is located behind NAHC Central on the upper level. Ongoing during the conference.
Join us for breakfast discussions on Monday and Tuesday that will cover a variety of topics, including how the CoPs are being surveyed, upper management guidance on clinical and financial/operations working together, culture in your agency, and articulating the value of home health. Hosted by faculty experts; look for the high-top tables around the perimeter of the room during breakfast. (Note: Breakfast on Monday and Tuesday will be located on the upper level.)
